Dear Lime families,
I wanted to let you know that I am making a change at Frankie Lemmon School and as of Wednesday September 21st I will no longer be working in the classroom as teacher assistant with Jaimie.
J and I have been a good team for the past 6 years and I will miss working with her each day. She has been and will continue to be a close friend.
I have been so fortunate to do for a living what I am passionate about in my heart. I knew the day I walked in the door to apply for a job that I had found my life's work. It has been such a priviledge and honor to see these precious children grow and learn through the 15 years that I have been here. the families, staff, volunteers, and all of the other groups that make this exceptional school so special have been faithful to bring FLS so far and for that I am so thankful.
Changes happen in life and situations and circumstance will make things different for me. I will continue to be involved at FLS in some way. I am just switching gears until I retire. It is in my near future! And trust me, I will be getting sweet hugs whenever I can! Love to All, Ms. B (Carla Bass)
A note from Ms. J...
This would have been my and Ms. B's 7th year together as a teaching team. We have always made a great pair and I am thankful for her being my right hand woman all these years. I am sad to see her go but excited that we will still get to see her around FLS and that I always have her to call as my friend. She is a beautiful person inside and out as you all have had the privilege of experiencing throughout her 15 years at FLS. So this isn't goodbye, just we wish you well, and we will see you around B. Love you! Also, we will be having a retirement party for her on Tuesday, November 15th so please save the date and plan to come be a part!
