This week we are working on giraffes and the children enjoyed it! They are also enjoying the animal creations around the room and the ones they have created. This week we did two activities and just about every child in the class participated :) First, we did vegetable prints and everyone was excited to make there own vegetable prints. They even wanted to try some of the vegetables which is a great thing because we know it is healthy for each and every one of us! Also, we made our own "tambourines" on Thursday!!! We made them just so we can play them at Music Therapy with Ms.Paula. Everyone were happy they could play their own hand made tambourine!! Our week was great. Have a Good weekend and see you all Monday for community helpers week.

This week we are working on the letter "Z" and Ms. B did an art project on making a "Zig Zag Zebra." The children enjoyed making their own by adding legs and Zebra prints to their art work. They were very excited. We are still enjoying our new play ground with new added bikes and other play items to exercise with during outside play. Next week we will be working on a new alphabet letter we are excited about. Also, we are excited to see some friends back to our classroom. We also wish them well kisses who is not present so that we can show our love to our peers. Have a Safe and Enjoyably weekend! See you Monday :) Well, this week we have accomplished all of our Valentines Day activities for each student. We have had three different lesson activities with Ms. Schley this week on a Science and Approaches to Learning lessons. The children enjoyed each one of them and stayed till the activity was over. On Tuesday, in movement we did a little something differ with Ms. Hoze and pretending that we were ice skating. Now, that was fun and the children loved it and the smile on their faces were priceless. However, when Thursday came Ms. J and Ms.B had a surprise and that was: "Are Playground is up and running!!" We finally got to play on our NEW playground!! As you see in the pictures below ALL of the children were over joyed and so were we! Today, we had our Valentine's Day treat and ate some yummy cookies from one of our student's mom. Our week has been busy, but enjoyable to share our Love with one another. Have a Great "Love" Weekend and stay warm. See ya Monday! :) ~Schley Chase This week we are finally back on track from missing school for two snow days. During center time the children had the opportunity to play at the sensory table with homemade snow. Our classmate's Dad brought some in for the children to enjoy and Oh boy did they had a fun time with it! We are currently working on Valentines day art projects and the beautiful hearts the children are designing looks wonderful around our classroom. We also had a visitor come in with a pet dog during free play time and the children couldn't stop petting this precious dog. There were smiles upon their faces and excitement to have a live pet enter into our classroom. This has been a very busy week full of Love! Have a wonderful Day and enjoy you all's weekend:) ~Schley Chase |
