Can you believe next week we will celebrate Thanksgiving?! Where has the time gone! Time flies when you are having fun! Check out the fun in the pics below of the Fabulous 5s! Originally, October 31st was supposed to be a teacher workday. Instead it was a regular school day to make up the missed day from hurricane Matthew. It worked out really good for the kids and the teachers because we planned lots of fun things on that day since it was halloween. The kids all arrived in their costume and after breakfast we headed down the halls to trick or treat in all the offices and with the therapists. After all the school work was done for the day and naptime was over we combined with the Pineapples and had a party! There was so much food! My goodness, the kids must've gotten their fill of cookies, cupcakes, cheese, crackers, fruit, etc.! Thanks to all of you who contributed by coming out and helping with trick or treating or the party. Also a big thanks to all of you who sent in yummy treats for our party. The kids had a blast! Below are a few pictures from the day! Most everyone stayed in their costume long enough for me at least to grab a quick snapshot. Many had already taken their stuff off though by the time breakfast was over! Of course they all looked adorable anyway and got good practice talking saying "trick or treat" at each door with their voice or a device and saying or signing "thank you" at the end. It was a happy halloween for sure! |
