Friends and family it has been a SWEET week...literally! If you noticed your little ones were a little more active than usual it is probably all the fun treats this past week! Friday we decorated our classroom gingerbread house and of course everyone had a taste of candy!. Monday, we had a wonderful group come and donate their time and cookies to the school and helped all the kids to decorate. Today, in language group we created a gingerbread boy with Ms. Hanvey which of course ran away (as the story goes) and we had to look to find him. Don't worry, in all this fun and excitement we have found plenty of ways to incorporate early learning. Everything from identifying colors and shapes to fine motor and language skills to decorate! I have taken SO MANY pictures and if you can believe it this is only about 1/2 of them! Enjoy them below :) J
PS...hidden in some of the pictures is our own classroom "little elf." He hides daily and reports back to Santa, the kids love it!
